Press Release April 2024: Investment Platform Nectaro Draws Over 1,500 European Clients in Its Inaugural Quarter

Nectaro, a Latvia-based investment platform licensed by the Bank of Latvia, announces its impressive traction with over 1,500 clients across Europe since its launch on November 22, 2023. In this release, we offer insights into our first quarter's performance, highlight investment trends, and outline our strategic direction for the future.

Since commencing operations in late November, Nectaro has facilitated nearly €800,000 in loan volumes, boasting an average investment of over €4,800. Our platform's diverse client base spans 26 countries, showcasing strong market interest, particularly from Germany, Lithuania, Austria, and Portugal, alongside our primary market, Latvia.

Sigita Kotlere, CEO and Board Member of Nectaro, states,

Our mission to democratize investing and dispel myths about the investment landscape for individual investors has taken a significant leap forward. The enthusiastic response underlines the European market's appetite for straightforward, alternative investment avenues that empower individuals towards achieving their financial aspirations. We're excited to continue our growth trajectory, enhancing our portfolio with secure, flexible investment options.

Investment Gender Gap: A Closer Look at Latvian Investors

An intriguing aspect of Nectaro's first-quarter achievements is the marked gender disparity among investors. With 79% of our platform's investors being male, who on average invest €5,243.9, compared to their female counterparts' €1,821.59, it's clear there's substantial room to encourage greater female participation in investing.
